PARCO ENERGIA EX-SAIRO | IMPERIA (IM), ITALY

When Energy Helps Give a Place Back to the Community

Some projects go far beyond the installation of a wind turbine. They transform a place, give it a new identity, and return it to the people who will live and enjoy it.

This is the spirit behind the regeneration of the former Sairo Refinery in Imperia, an iconic industrial site in Italy that is entering a new chapter through an ambitious urban redevelopment project.

We are proud to contribute to this vision together with Schivo & Revelli Architects, who led the architectural integration of our ENESSERE micro wind turbines into the project, and Enel X, which is driving the site’s energy redevelopment.

Within this new public park, the ENESSERE micro wind turbines are much more than technologies supporting green infrastructure. They become part of the landscape, enhancing spaces dedicated to social interaction, sports and sustainable mobility, while helping define the new identity of this public park in Imperia.

It is a place designed to be experienced every day, where sustainability, high-quality urban design and people’s well-being come together.

For ENESSERE, this project perfectly represents our vision.

We believe the energy transition is an opportunity to improve the places where we live, transforming clean energy into an element that can engage in dialogue with architecture, the landscape and the daily life of local communities through our micro wind turbines.

That is why we are especially proud to be part of the rebirth of the former Sairo Refinery: a project that shows how sustainability can do more than generate clean electricity. It can also help create public spaces that are more beautiful, more liveable and more meaningful for the communities they serve.
