Enessere is pleased to take part in a truly special project focused on significant environmental restoration. Thanks to a collaboration with the architecture firm Revelli & Schivo Architects, our smart micro wind turbines will play a key role in the environmental redevelopment of the public park in the city of Imperia, adjacent to the former Sairo Refinery site — the first refinery in Italy, established in 1912.
Thanks to the involvement of Enel-X, coordinated by architect Schivo, the Ligurian city will reclaim a beautiful urban park powered by clean energy generated from wind and solar sources.
The redevelopment of the former Sairo site includes a mix of residential, social, and recreational spaces, set to host sports and cultural associations, co-working and co-learning areas, temporary housing for young students and athletes, as well as affordable social housing for families.
The urban regeneration project will also feature a green park with social spaces, a bike path, and both surface and covered parking areas.
