Coop Firenze has always distinguished itself for its attention to sustainability, together with environmental care, the elimination of inequalities and generation pacts.
Together with ENESSERE, Coop Firenze Energy Team is evaluating the possibility to integrate their photovoltaic systems with multiple smaller-sized wind turbines, installed along their parking spaces, perhaps in close proximity of charging stations for electric cars. 2021 will see some pilot installations in selected shopping centers of the Coop Firenze group, in order to decrease the fossil sources energy dependency of their superstores: another fascinating idea will also be to transform our small ENESSERE wind turbines into metereological hubs for the collection of sound level and fine particles data, to be ready for a new “smart cities” era.
