25 May Enessere Hercules: sustainable luxury for Kering

Kering is the second largest global Luxury group, an ensemble of 19 brands that include Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Audemars Piguet and many others. Kering Eyewear is a new hub created in Italy to take ownership of the lucrative eyewear market, instead of relying on external suppliers that license the brands in exchange for royalty payments. As the holding company of a portfolio of luxury brands, Kering has always promoted economic, social and environmental sustainability practices, and the partnership with ENESSERE is consistent with and supports their vision. The idea of an installation first came up when our ENESSERE Hercules Wind Turbine caught the attention of Roberto Vedovotto, Kering Eyewear CEO, who saw in Hercules the perfect synthesis of Luxury and Sustainability. Also impressed by the balance between technology and artisanal work, he decided to install a wind turbine on the headquarters of Kering Eyewear Italia in Villa Zaguri – Padova, where Hercules quickly became a staple of the place. At ENESSERE we are extremely proud of the association with Kering since it represents a validation of our original idea to create a product that celebrates craftsmanship and sustainabiliy and is able to add value to the most sophisticated environments.
