Fondazione Sistema Ollignan of Quart, in the Aosta Valley, has inaugurated an innovative heated greenhouse for the cultivation of orchids, powered by a micro-wind plant that exploits wind energy.
The ribbon cutting took place in the presence of the Minister for Disabilities Alessandra Locatelli, as well as the President of the Region Renzo Testolin, the mayor of Quart Fabrizio Bertholin and numerous authorities.
This initiative, called “Pureness and Energy“, was created with the aim of promoting the employment inclusion of young people with fragility, through eco-sustainable agricultural methods. Our company contributed to the project of Fondazione Sistema Ollignan of Quart, supplying and installing the wind turbine that powers the heating system of the new greenhouse for the cultivation of orchids.
The micro-wind plant will allow the structure to be energetically self-sufficient, exploiting the renewable energy of the wind to activate the heat pump that heats the environment.

The solution proposed by Enessere allows to completely eliminate the use of fossil fuels and related CO2 emissions, in line with the eco-sustainable vocation of the project.
